Junior Choir Special Celebration

Re: The Special Celebration, Friday 2 December, Winchester Cathedral

On Friday 2 December Junior Choir has been asked to attend and support the Special Celebration at Winchester Cathedral, where they will be leading the singing and celebrations. This annual event celebrates the festive season in a series of songs and activities depicting the events of the nativity, and involves special schools from across Hampshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for members to experience this large scale event in such a magnificent setting.

The celebration will be from 11.00am -12.00pm so we have written to your child’s school to ask for permission for absence.

At the moment we are confirming the details and timings and will let you know as soon as possible but estimate that the members will need to be there around 10.00am and collected around 12.30pm. There will be some seating available in the Cathedral for those parents who wish to stay for the performance.

Please could you confirm either way if your child can attend by completing the online form (link below) and if you have any problems please let me know directly. The information will also be sent to you via email and the information will also be added to our blog.
