Songs For The Season - Concert Arrangements

Dear Parents and Members

Please see below regarding arrangements for our Christmas Concert on Friday 7 December at Chandlers Ford Methodist Church, Winchester Rd, SO53 2GJ at 7.30pm.

You will note that this is different from the originally planned Thornden Hall. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to move venues. There is some parking onsite but it is likely to fill quickly. There are several pay and display car parks nearby.

Concert Uniform

ALL members MUST have the correct uniform for the performance. Please refer to the uniform letter or the uniform page on our website if you are unsure: www.hcyc.hmsensembles.org.uk

If you still need to order your uniform please contact Katy Roberts via email uniform.fhcyc@gmail.com or speak to someone at Friday’s rehearsal as a matter of urgency.

Concert Rehearsals

Our last rehearsal for the year is Friday 30 November and our last opportunity to practise pieces in full, so please make sure that you are in attendance for all remaining rehearsals.

Rehearsal Times on 7th December at CFMC

Please arrive in good time for your rehearsal.

Training 4.30pm

Show 5.00 pm

Youth 5.40pm

Chamber 6.10pm

Junior 6.30pm

Those who are in Training and no other ensemble are welcome to stay, but all members please make sure that you sign in and out with a member of staff so we know who is on site at all times.

There will be time between rehearsals to change and have something to eat if required. Please bring plenty of bottled water with you.

If there are any issues, please notify your director as soon as possible or feel free to get in touch. A flyer is attached for you to distribute to friends and family. We all look forward to a great festive concert!

Attendance

We do expect full attendance where at all possible but appreciate that situations arise where absence is unavoidable. If you cannot make a rehearsal for any reason, please let us know by completing the short online form: HCYC absence register – academic year 2018-19 which can be found on our home page.

Residential to PGL Liddington, 8-10 February 2019

If you have not already done so, please could you kindly let us know either way via the online form (link below) if you will be attending the residential. The Rookwood Office has been sending out payment requests for this trip, so we will be sending out further reminders unless you inform us otherwise.
