• 10.30: HCYC rehearsal in the foyer
• 11.00: HCYC rehearsal on stage
• 11.45: Carmina performers move on to stage / vocal warm ups etc
• 12.00: Carmina rehearsal starts
• 14.15: Carmina rehearsal finishes • 15.30: HCYC to be ready backstage
• 15.45: Choir to take seats on stage
• 16.00: Concert starts
• 18.30: Approximate Concert finish time
Dress code: • Standard HCYC uniform – please make sure this is really smart. Polished (formal) shoes, tidy hair off the face etc. • New members – if you do not have a uniform, you need to contact Jo Trotter ASAP: ▪ Jo Trotter – 07784 999 039 – peanutjt1@btinternet.com
Please bring: • Your West Side Story Medley and Ubi Caritas scores (first half of the concert) • Your Carmina Burana score (second half of the concert) • A packed lunch, bottled water and a snack IMPORTANT: • All members must arrive IN CONCERT DRESS via the main entrance and make sure that they sign in and out of the building with a member of staff, even after the concert. We appreciate that this is a long time to be in your uniform so please bring something to wear over the top, and use the break to make sure that you are as smart and neat and tidy as possible. • During the break (from 14.15 to 15.30), Youth Choir members will be allowed to go out in groups of four and having signed out with a member of staff. • We do not have access to a secure area to store phones, gadgets, valuables etc. during the concert, so please keep these to a minimum. • You can buy tickets through The Anvil box office on 01256 844244 or online at www.anvilarts.org.uk Stands and sits – PLEASE MARK THESE IN YOUR SCORES All stand when soloists and conductor appear. Conductor will then indicate ‘Ragazzi’ to sit Conductor will indicate all other stands/sits. At end of performance, remain standing for initial applause, sitting down when soloists and conductor leave the stage. Then follow indications of the conductor.
